Formed in 1968 by James Bourke Snr. and Edward Kennedy,

Ladkarn Construction Limited specialised in prestigious ground work projects around the London area such as the Canary Wharf and the Docklands redevelopments, the News International site and the extensive Wapping Jubilee Line Extension.

James Bourke Jnr. took over operations in 2001,

having spent the previous decade working his way up through the business as a machine operator through to managing the onsite operations before being made Director.
